  • Ram Singh-070 was a metallic blue robot bought by Prem Chopra from Super Robots Plaza.

Independence Day Celebration

August 16, Jamnagar:

Yesterday, our school celebrated Independence Day with great zeal. The school building was decorated with tricolor balloons and ribbons. The function started at 8:00 AM.

Our Principal hoisted the National Flag. We all sang the National Anthem with pride. The Principal gave an inspiring speech about the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. Students performed patriotic dances and songs. Finally, sweets were distributed to all students. It was a memorable day.

India is a land of festivals. Among them, Diwali is my favourite festival. It is known as the 'Festival of Lights'. It usually falls in October or November. People clean and decorate their houses before Diwali. They make colorful Rangolis and light earthen lamps (diyas).

On the day of Diwali, businessmen worship their account books. People wear new clothes and visit their relatives. Children are very happy because they get to burst firecrackers. We eat lots of sweets.

The next day is celebrated as the Hindu New Year. People wish "Sal Mubarak" or "Happy New Year" to each other. Diwali brings joy and happiness to everyone. It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness.
